"Natasha has enormous empathy with her students and knows how to get the very best out of them."

About Lexipro

I began teaching in 2001 across primary, secondary and further education. I have worked in both state and independent sectors.

In 2021, I founded Lexipro to offer high-quality, tailored English tutoring in a nurturing, supportive environment. I’ve taught a diverse range of students, from primary school children to adults, covering 11+ preparation, entrance exams, GCSE English (for all exam boards), EFL and general English.

At Lexipro, I work with both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners, aiming to create an inclusive and supportive environment. Many of my students come to me after facing challenges in education or the workplace. I take the time to listen, adapt and build meaningful relationships that support their growth.

I collaborate closely with families, schools and professionals to support students, particularly those who have struggled in traditional classrooms. I keep families involved in the process by regularly updating them on their child's progress. This ensures they remain an integral part of the learning experience.

Lexipro supports learners who have been overlooked in mainstream education, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

My long-term relationships with families are grounded in patience, trust and steady progress. Parents and schools often describe me as a standout educator, with many maintaining long-term relationships due to the visible progress students achieve.

My Specialist Teaching Roles in English

Lexipro English Tutoring

Whether working one-to-one or in a group, my tutoring is tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for development.

I specialise in the following:

  • GCSE English Language and Literature (all exam boards)

  • 11+ and private/grammar school entrance exams

  • Functional Skills English up to Level 2 and general English for adults

  • EFL/ESL tutoring for academic, conversational and workplace use, including unscheduled revision practice lessons before important exams to strengthen skills and ensure success

I work with both neurotypical and neurodivergent students, including those with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, dyslexia and barriers to school attendance. My approach is patient, empathetic and focused on developing both skills and self-assurance. Many GCSE students exceeded their predicted grades, often improving by multiple levels. ESL learners frequently progress from beginner to fluent, passing key exams and enhancing workplace communication.

South Thames College (Wandsworth) – Functional Skills English Teacher

Responsible for the delivery of Functional Skills English (Level 2) to adult learners aged 25+, many progressing from ESOL with limited confidence in communication.

Created an encouraging, non-judgmental classroom atmosphere where students with mixed abilities developed essential reading, writing and speaking skills. Guided learners in delivering presentations and improving their everyday English skills.

Achieved a high pass rate in exams, including 100% in Speaking & Listening assessments.

Richmond upon Thames College (SEN Department) – English Teacher

Taught English to post-16 students with a wide range of complex special educational needs, including non-verbal autism, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome and severe speech and language difficulties.

Designed highly personalised, accessible learning plans and differentiated content to meet varied cognitive and communication needs.

Collaborated with teachers, heads of department and LSAs to provide joined-up support.

Focused on helping students feel seen, capable and included.

City Gateway (Newham) – Functional Skills English Teacher

I was solely responsible for delivering English Functional Skills up to Level 2 to 16–25-year-olds at an alternative provision for NEET learners. Students had been out of education for many years and were heavily impacted by social and economic inequality.

My students ranged from high-ability learners to those with special educational needs (SEN), and I adapted my teaching to meet diverse needs within a single class. I built rapport to ensure they felt comfortable and supported.

Planned and delivered inclusive lessons for revision, resits and exam prep, while incorporating British Values. Supported Entry Level and Level 1 students to progress to Level 2, maintaining a 90%+ pass rate across all components of Functional Skills Level 2, exceeding the national average.

Received praise from Ofsted for accessible, engaging teaching and built one-to-one relationships to help learners reconnect with education.

Primary School Tutoring

Built extensive experience supporting primary students through Lexipro.

Provided personalised tutoring for Years 5 and 6, including 11+ and entrance exam preparation.

I focus on strong foundations in reading, writing and comprehension to support confident transitions into secondary education.
