I began my teaching career in 2001, and over the past two decades, I have worked across primary, secondary and further education within both state and independent sectors.

In 2021, I founded Lexipro English Tutoring to provide high-quality, tailored support. My approach is built on the reality that every learner needs a different path to success, whether they are preparing for a pivotal exam or building essential life skills.

I provide a supportive, inclusive space for both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners at any stage of life. Whether working with home-educated children, students navigating mainstream school or adults returning to study, I focus on building meaningful relationships grounded in trust. I collaborate closely with families, schools and professionals to ensure a joined-up approach, providing the regular, motivating feedback that turns barriers into breakthroughs.

At its heart, Lexipro exists to support learners who may have felt overlooked, whether in school, further education or the workplace, helping them overcome barriers and achieve measurable progress.

I am a specialist educator with over 20 years’ experience. While my formal training is in Further Education, I have spent over two decades working with a diverse range of learners, from primary-aged children to adults, transforming potential into real, measurable results.

Whether working one-to-one or in a group, my tutoring is tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for development.

I specialise in the following:

My background includes years of teaching within SEN and Functional Skills departments, where I worked with everyone from adult learners to post-16 students with complex needs. I have extensive experience supporting learners with non-verbal autism, ADHD and Down’s Syndrome, creating personalised lessons that focus on building trust and accessibility. My work in alternative provision and further education, which earned consistently high pass rates and an Ofsted commendation, has given me the experience to adapt to almost any learning barrier.
